Introduction to Suiboku-ga class

Originally introduced from China in the Kamakura period (1185-1333), Japanese Suiboku-ga (ink and wash painting) evolved in its own unique way and spread throughout the world with the teachings of Zen, creating a long history that continues to this day.
The time spent in the quiet mind, rubbing and concentrating on the ink, can calm down daily worries and anxieties, and create a state of mind where one can concentrate on the "now".

Please come and experience the world of Suiboku-ga, which is full of various realizations.

First, we will give you a brief introduction to Suiboku-ga and explain the tools used for Suiboku-ga,
Then, you will experience the basic techniques of Suiboku-ga, such as how to hold a brush, how to use a brush, and how to adjust the shade of ink (shading).

Please enjoy the time to face yourself, free from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

現在、「玉川髙島屋S・C 総合カルチャーセンター コミュニティクラブたまがわ」内の水墨画教室のみの開催となっております。個別での開催・個人レッスンについてはCONTACTよりお問い合わせ下さい。
